Nancy O’Connor is the Marketing Director and Principal Negotiator of Insurance and Risk Transfer Programs at InterContinental Insurance Brokers, LLC. She develops creative and proven insurance and risk management solutions for a wide range of clients across a diverse range of industries and interests. Nancy has a high level of expertise and experience in the real estate, social services, hospitality, high tech and financial services industries.
During her career, Ms. O’Connor has serviced and marketed major property and casualty accounts with international firms, including Alexander & Alexander Brokerage Services (now AON) in Boston. She was a key member of their new business team. She also managed large accounts and marketed client programs for regional insurance brokerage firms including C.J. McCarthy (owned by HUB International), Kaler, Carney, Liffler (now Arthur J. Gallagher). Her experience spans over 35 years and several insurance cyclical markets. Nancy’s strength is her vast experience preparing clients for changing insurance market conditions, introducing clients to new products for mitigating financial loss, and developing strategies with resulting cost savings and risk transference solutions.
Nancy is known throughout the insurance industry as one of the top negotiators in the business. The majority of the senior underwriters in Boston, New York, Hartford and the UK recognize her for her extraordinary technical knowledge in the risk management and insurance fields.
