Carla Andrews has had a long, successful career providing a wide variety of risk management consulting and insurance brokerage services to clients. She helps minimize financial loss and guarantee positive financial results for businesses ranging from small sole proprietorships to multi-national conglomerates. Carla’s areas of expertise include strategic planning; comprehensive audits; insurance program design and implementation; contract analyses and negotiations; coverage/cost benchmarking; insurance-to-value evaluations; feasibility studies; business continuity planning; loss management counsel; and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Carla also serves as InterContinental Insurance Brokers’ Financial Products Practice Leader, specializing in complex management liability and executive risk issues affecting private and public, for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining InterContinental Insurance Brokers, Carla was a Producer and Risk Management Consultant with Eastern Insurance Group. She also served for more than 19 years as a Managing Consultant with Albert Risk Management Consultants. She has been an expert public speaker for real estate and construction organizations, trade associations and legal groups on a variety of risk management topics affecting real estate and construction. She is also an accredited risk management and insurance educator for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) International.
A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Carla was a Sarah Williston Scholar and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. She is a Licensed Insurance Broker, Licensed Insurance Advisor, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS).
